Chanonry View
A self-catering bungalow nestled away in a quiet neighbourhood in Fortrose on the Black Isle, Chanonry View is approximately a 30 minute drive North East of Inverness. With stunning panoramic views across the Moray Firth surrounded by a beautiful garden, this peaceful home-from-home will give couples and families a wonderful holiday to remember.
“We have enjoyed a wonderful week in this "oasis of calm" that is Chanonry View. Our every need was provided for. Thank you for a great stay.”
Wake up to beautiful sunrises
…across Chanonry Point from both the lounge and master bedroom and enjoy the sun in the garden all day long. On the less sunny days, watch the weather roll down the Firth from the warmth of your armchair with the untouched views across the water towards Castle Stuart. The twin bedroom, kitchen and dining room look out onto the established garden surrounded by mature shrubs and abundant bird life.
Whatever the weather, Chanonry View offers a tranquil retreat, both inside and out.
Accommodation
Sleeping up to 4 people and all on one level, the property is geared up for those with reduced mobility. Please note there is a minimum of three steps to gain access, however handrails are available on two of the entrances.
The spacious master bedroom houses a king size bed with an en-suite shower room. There is ample room for a cot for our younger guests, if required (please request at the time of booking).
The main bathroom has been converted into a wet room with a walk-in shower and shower seat. There is a handrail next to the toilet.
The cosy, yet spacious, lounge has a large picture window looking out over the lawn and gives untouched views of the Moray Firth and Chanonry Point. Patio doors open from both the lounge and dining room giving access to the amazing outdoor space and patios. Dine inside watching the birds have a bath or join them outside on our patio, either way you can be at one with nature. Sit for long enough and you may even see the resident pine marten saunter past or see the local owls swoop through the trees.
Our well-appointed kitchen will make self-catering a pleasure, and with ample restaurants and takeaways in the area, you’ll never be stuck for choice.
